Associate, Duckett, Orem, Christie & Beckett, 1966-69. Partner, Sasscer, Clagett, Channing and Bucher, 1970-88 (associate, 1969-70). Member, Order of the Coif (national law school honor society), 1965-; Maryland Bar Foundation, 1982-; American College of Trial Lawyers, 1985-.
